Woke at 0730. Got up and did a bit of work before breakfast. Aki rang. She's been working on a little speech about her mum to deliver at the funeral. Packed a lunch and headed back to Uxbridge, stopping off at Tesco in Yeading, where I picked up a coffee. Spent all day pootling about Uxbridge, Ruislip, Pinner, Northolt etc. Stopped in Eastcote and had my lunch in the car. The River Pinn is just the other side of that wall at the bottom of the road...well, more like a stream really, but from which Pinner gets it's name. Got home at 1900...it was dark!!! Warmed up a portion of fish pie for dinner. FaceTimed Kath to see how she'd gotten on with Jim. She had driven Dad out there, picked up Jim, and Dad drove the camper van back to High View. Jim is parked up on the driveway, in 14 day quarantine! Still, Dad's compost bin should be fermenting nicely after a couple of weeks! Did a bit of ringing round prior to tomorrow night's band rehearsal. Looking forward to it. Took a look at the chords for I Heard It Through the Grapevine before running a bath. Aki rang briefly, having her breakfast. Still working on her speech, but sounds as though she's getting there.
