Woke around 0730. Aki up to prepare for her site visit to Balham later. I got to work at the computer, mug of tea in hand. Aki lunched early on homemade soup, and departed for Balham, taking her chances on public transport. I worked through the afternoon. Made a mushroom and tofu rendang for dinner, which we ate with red rice. Then I set about making a carrot and parsnip chutney, which I managed to jar up before MasterChef came on. Smelt good. 80,000 positive covid tests today....that's a record...things not looking good for the Festive Season!
