Woke to alarm at 0730. Got up and made tea, prepared a packed lunch, and made some porridge for breakfast. Aki had a zoom call with Japan at 0900. I headed out east in the car, stopping off at Birchanger Service station on the M11, before heading NE for Ridgewell and Great Yeldham. Nice sunny day. Drove through some very pleasant Essex villages. Stopped at Tesco in Braintree, and had my lunch sat in the car in the car park. Then on to Chelmsford, Basildon, and Rayleigh, before turning the car round and heading for home. Got in at 1900. Aki had prepared a salad Nicoise for dinner. Watched episode 2 of "Sherwood".
