Woke around 0800. Got up and made tea. Read some Lampedusa, then watched Laura Kuenssberg as she dissected the election results. I cooked breakfast when Aki got up. Switched on Wimbledon at 1100, but of course rain had stopped play. Play finally got under way at 1300 on the show courts, where the roofs covered the courts...watched a bit of Alcaraz v Humbert, which the Spaniard won in four sets, but the main attraction was Raducanu v Lulu Sun, a qualifier who had never appeared at a Grand Slam before...naturally, Emma lost in three sets!!! I cooked Cuban black beans for dinner, which we ate with lime rice, chapati, yoghurt, and greens..it was rather bland. Watched Coco Gauff go out to Emma Navarro before shower and bed...
