Woke around 0845. The blinds in the front bedroom at Tami’s weren’t much good at keeping the rising sun out. Aki was asleep with a red scarf over her eyes. Got up and found some teabags in Tami’s kitchen. Tami cooked us an omelette for breakfast, which we augmented with the expensive cured ham we bought in duty free at Lisbon airport on Friday. Amused to discover the cat was called Ziggy, so I introduced her to my Ziggy Stardust sock for a photo op. Left Tami’s and walked to Earlsfield station…caught a train to Vauxhall, then took the Victoria line to Kings Cross, where we ventured above ground and hopped on a No.91 bus home. Bumped into Brett from No.7 as we’re getting off the bus…she’d been swimming at Cally pool. Chilled on the sofa for most of the remainder of the afternoon while Aki did some work. Cooked confit of duck for dinner, with sauteed potatoes, and vegetables. Nowt much on the telly, so read some "Nicholas Nickleby" before bath and bed...
