Woke around 0800. Got up a little before 0900...another slightly disturbed night's sleep, largely owing to Storm Jocelyn...the building site over the back took a battering, and I could hear the tarpaulin being whipped about in the winds. Porridged at the computer. Managed an hour or so's work before we walked across to Gillespie Park for Qi Gong. Lunched in the Xian Expressions Chinese cafe opposite the Emirates stadium afterward. Walked home via the Indie Beer shop on Holloway Road, where I picked up a few cans of Scottish brewed ale to take to the Burns Night celebrations at No.127 tomorrow night. Managed another couple of hours at the computer in the afternoon. Aki cooked salmon for dinner, with rice and vegetables. Watched a bit of telly. Aki had a zoom meeting with members of her Japanese expat society, so I sat on the sofa reading "A Thousand Moons". I also made parsnip soup. Aki finished her meeting at 2200, so we caught up with this evening's episode of "The Traitors", and "Uncloaked". So it was 2330 before Aki headed for the shower. I was at the kitchen sink and could hear the sound of running water...I checked to see if Aki had put the dishwasher on, but upon further investigation discovered a massive leak below the kitchen sink, at the back of the cupboard, water flowing generously beneath the party wall with No.5. Turned the water supply off at the stopcock. Phoned Sush next door, but he was in bed...resolved to knock them up in the morning and inspect to see if there's any collateral damage...no water supply until it gets fixed!
