Woke around 0930...exhausted after last night's excesses! I eventually rolled out of bed once Aki had cooked breakfast. Slowly got our act together, then ventured out into the sunshine to buy bread at Yerbury School Farmer's Market, bumping into Lynne and Boston on the Holloway Road. We got to the market just as Roberto was packing up, but he'd thankfully put a loaf aside for us, and we walked back down the Holloway Road to do a bit of a shop in Waitrose. Came home and enjoyed a light lunch of peanut butter on toast. Sat about for most of the remainder of the afternoon, reading the Guardian. Aki pan fried some cod fillet for dinner, with a tasty sauce, featuring home grown wild garlic that she'd picked this morning. Marmalade ice-cream for afters. Watched "Ripley"...the episode was the one in which Tom clobbers Dickie over the head with an oar and throws him over-board...it was a tense watch, but nothing compared to the uncomfortable viewing offered by Richard Gadd's "Baby Reindeer"...not sure we'll be able to last the course, as his lead character gets into murky water with a middle-aged woman who enjoys stalking anyone who shows the slightest interest in her...it soon has you having to watch through your fingers!!!
