Woke around 0800. Aki had managed to get a reasonably good night's sleep, and felt better; thankfully she hadn't had to use the fermentation bin! I went down to the kitchen and made tea. Cereal for breakfast. Kath had departed for Berwick, and a rendevous with Dex. Spent the morning tidying up after yesterday's exertions in the kitchen, and began prepping lunch. Fried potatoes, topped with salmon, spinach, a poached egg, and hollandaise sauce...very tasty. Aki made do with some soup. We walked down to the Co-op at Darras Hall after lunch to buy some provisions, most notably two sheets of puff pastry. Walked back, and started to prep a large turkey and ham pie, stuffed full of Xmas leftovers. Aki came in and gave me a hand. Served it up with creamed cabbage and apple, and a bit of the nut roast; the last of the Xmas pudd for afters...dad made some custard. Played the Book Game...it wasn't a vintage version, but passed the time. Nowt on telly.
